In my check of the elements performed by Yuzuru Hanyu I went as far as triple axel in combination. If you need to know what kind of work I did you can read the post dedicated to 4Lo. Here are also the posts dedicated to the 4S, the 4T in combination and the 4T.
I wanted to do a different check for each type of combination, but I found myself in difficulty. In the last four years Hanyu has performed the 3A+3T combination only three times in international competitions, plus once in a national championship. The 3A+2T combination is a little more frequent, five executions in international competitions, two in national championships. However, we are far from the ten executions of the previous tables. And then there are three combinations 3A+1Eu+3S and two sequences 4T+3A+SEQ, all made in international competitions. The sequences (which in any case Hanyu only performed in the 2018-19 season, therefore it is not possible to make comparisons with the score code +3/-3) came under my check on the 4T combinations, for the rest I decided to group together all the combinations opened by a 3A, regardless of the jumps Hanyu executed afterwards, and to select from here the ten elements with the best GOE.
Before the table of combinations and the graph, I publish the data – forcibly reduced – of the various types of combinations, and any combination I look at, regardless of the number of competitions considered, 10 or less, depending on how many times Hanyu has made that specific combination in the last four years, with the score code +3/3 Hanyu’s marks were higher. I considered the combinations performed at the National Championship only when the +5/-5 score code was in effect, if I had done it even earlier, the average score of the combinations performed with the +3/-3 score code would have gone up, given that on one occasion Hanyu received a +2.80 (93.33%).

Considering all types of combinations, I managed to have ten with a positive GOE for the last four years as well. From here I made table and graph. As with the other jump elements, at the bottom left I have listed the four best combinations performed with both score codes.
This time I inserted another small table that I usually don’t insert, the one with the red border. In the top ten combinations performed with the +3/-3 score code, Hanyu had an average GOE of 84.77%, with the +5/-5 score code it dropped to 55.21%. True, for the last few seasons I have had little choice, but in the table of competitions up to PyeongChang there are four other combinations in which Hanyu has received over 70% of the maximum GOE, something he has only managed to do twice in the last two seasons and only in national competitions, never in international competitions (in 2020, +2.74, corresponding to 74.25% and in 2021, +3.31, corresponding to 82.75%, however marks lower than the three best obtained internationally with the score code +3/-3). I would like the judges to explain to me what was missing to assign the +5 to the 3A+3T combination performed by Hanyu in the 4CC 2020 freestyle, or to the 3A+2T combinations of the WTT 2021 and the 2022 Olympic Games. However we want to look at the data, in the last four seasons Hanyu received lower scores.

Nel mio controllo sugli elementi eseguiti da Yuzuru Hanyu sono arrivata al triplo axel in combinazione. Se avete bisogno di sapere che tipo di lavoro ho fatto potete leggere il post dedicato al 4Lo. Qui invece ci sono i post dedicati al 4S, al 4T in combinazione e al 4T.
Avrei voluto fare un controllo diverso per ogni tipo di combinazione, ma mi sono trovata in difficoltà. Nell’ultimo quadriennio Hanyu ha eseguito solo tre volte la combinazione 3A+3T in gare internazionali, più una volta in un Campionato nazionale. La combinazione 3A+2T è un po’ più frequente, cinque esecuzioni in gare internazionali, due in Campionati nazionali. Siamo comunque lontani dalle dieci esecuzioni delle precedenti tabelle. E poi ci sono tre combinazioni 3A+1Eu+3S e due sequenze 4T+3A+SEQ, tutte realizzate in gare internazionali. Le sequenze (che comunque Hanyu ha eseguito solo nella stagione 2018-19, perciò non è possibile fare confronti con il codice di punteggi +3/-3) sono entrate nel controllo sulle combinazioni del 4T, per il resto ho deciso di raggruppare tutte insieme le combinazioni aperte da un 3A, indipendentemente dai salti che Hanyu ha eseguito in seguito, e di selezionare da qui i dieci elementi dal miglior grado di esecuzione.
Prima della tabella relativa alle combinazioni e del grafico, pubblico i dati – forzatamente ridotti – delle varie tipologie di combinazione, e qualsiasi combinazione guardo, indipendentemente dal numero di gare considerate, 10 o meno, a seconda di quante volte Hanyu ha realizzato quella specifica combinazione nell’ultimo quadriennio, con il codice di punteggi +3/3 i voti di Hanyu erano più alti. Ho considerato le combinazioni eseguite al Campionato nazionale solo quando era in vigore il codice di punteggi +5/-5, se lo avessi fatto anche prima, il voto medio delle combinazioni eseguite con il codice di punteggio +3/-3 sarebbe salito, visto che in un’occasione Hanyu ha ricevuto un +2.80 (93.33%).

Considerando tutti i tipi di combinazione, sono riuscita ad averne dieci con GOE positivo anche per l’ultimo quadriennio. Come per gli altri elementi di salto, in basso a sinistra ho elencato le quattro migliori combinazioni eseguite con entrambi i codici di punteggio.
Stavolta ho inserito un’altra piccola tabella che di solito non inserisco, quella con il bordo rosso. Nelle dieci migliori combinazioni eseguite con il codice di punteggio +3/-3, Hanyu ha avuto un GOE medio pari all’84,77%, con il codice di punteggio +5/-5 è sceso a 55,21%. Vero, per le ultime stagioni ho avuto poca scelta, ma nella tabella delle gare fino a PyeongChang ci sono altre quattro combinazioni in cui Hanyu ha ricevuto oltre il 70% del GOE massimo, qualcosa che nelle ultime due stagioni è riuscito a fare solo due volte e solo in gare nazionali, mai in gare internazionali (nel 2020, +2.74, corrispondente al 74,25% e nel 2021, +3.31, corrispondente all’82,75%, voti comunque bassi rispetto ai tre migliori otteniti a livello internazionale con il codice di punteggi +3/-3). Mi piacerebbe che i giudici mi spiegassero cosa mancava per assegnare il +5 alla combinazione 3A+3T eseguita da Hanyu nel libero del 4CC 2020, o alle combinazioni 3A+2T del WTT 2021 e dei Giochi olimpici 2022. Comunque vogliamo guardare i dati, nelle ultime quattro stagioni Hanyu ha ricevuto voti più bassi.
